"Easy to make rice like you get at the mexican restaurant. Cooks up in your rice cooker without any fuss, mess or stirring! Haven't tried it- but could be made on the stovetop in a covered pot."

Ingredients
- o 1 cup rice ( I used long grain rice)
- o 2 1/4 cups low sodium chicken broth
- o 0.5 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- o 2 tablespoons butter
- o 1/2 cup onions, diced small
- o 1 garlic cloves, minced
- o 0.5 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies
- o 1 dash pepper
- o 1 dash red pepper flakes
- o cilantro or parsley, for color
Preparation
Step 1
1. combine all ingredients in rice cooker.
2. cook according to manufacturer instructions.
3. when cooking time finished let it sit uncovered for 3 minutes or so to thicken.
4. stir before serving.
