Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts (frozen or defrosted, either way)
- 1 cup Orange Marmalade (found on the Jelly/Jam aisle)
- 1 1/2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
- Burger Buns
- Chopped green onions to garnish (optional)
- Orange zest to garnish (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
- In your slow cooker, layer the first 3 ingredients.
- Stir the marmalade and BBQ sauce together and make sure it's all over your chicken inside the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
- When you're ready to serve, remove the lid and shred the chicken right inside the slow cooker using two forks.
- Top burger buns with the chicken mixture and garnish.
