Ingredients
- 3 pounds pork roast, sliced in half
- 2 teaspoons Five-spice powder
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together the five spice powder, garlic, sesame oil, hoisin sauce and honey until smooth. Rub the mixture evenly over the pork. Place the pork on a plate and chill in the refrigerator to marinate for up to six hours.
Place the pork on a wire rack set inside a roasting pan and roast the pork in 400 F oven for 1 1/4 hours or until the pork is crisp and the juices run clear when pierced.
Remove the pork from the oven, leave to rest for 15 minutes, then cut into strips. Arrange on a warmed serving platter.
