Beefy Macaroni and Cheese

Beefy Macaroni and Cheese is one of my top one pot wonder meals! The tomatoes in this dish provide extra vitamin C and B vitamins. Tastes good and good for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • 1 large can pureed tomotoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 4 cups low fat cheese, I used 2 cheddar and 2 mozzerella (you could adjust this to a lower caloric value)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
  • Spices of your choice

Preparation

Step 1

Use whatever spices you like in the tomato sauce. I used lots of garlic, some sea salt, oregano and basil

Brown the meat and drain. Boil the pasta. Heat all the tomato sauces in a pot and add your spices.

Mix meat and sauce in a large lasagna pan. Mix in two cups of cheese and stir well.

Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit for about 30-40 minutes.

Throw in a crusty french bread and a side veggie and you have a fantastic family dinner.
