Spicy pork and tofu

Ingredients

  • 2 T Oil
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • Soft Tofu cut into large cubes (not silken)
  • 3 T Hot bean paste
  • 2 T Soy Sauce
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced fine
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger minced fine
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 T green onion, sliced thin
  • Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp Sesame Oil

Preparation

Step 1

Add oil to hot skillet. Add ginger and garlic. Stir fry for 10-15 sec then add pork. Stir fry and break into lumps.(about 5 min). Add bean paste, pepper and fry until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Add tofu and stir gently. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and let cook until very fragrant, about 10 min. Bring to a boil and thicken with cornstarch and water, Turn off heat and sprinkle with sesame oil and green onion.
