Kolachky

  • 1 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 can SOLO fillings
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling on top

Preparation

Step 1

Cream the butter and cottage cheese together. Cut and work in the flour, then mold to form a dough. Wrap in a heavy waxed paper and place into refrigerator to chill well.

When cold, roll about 1/8 inch thick, or slightly thicker than for pie dough and cut in 2 or 3 inch squares. Use a sharp knife or pastry cutter. Place a teaspoon of any of the SOLO fillings in the center of each and bring opposite corners to the center to form a packet and press to hold firm.

Bake in 425 degree oven about 15 minutes, or until puffed and lightly brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
