Sous Vide Steak, basic recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tenderloin / strip loin etc 10 oz steaks
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

1) set temperature to 55 celsius for medium rare to 60 for medium
2) season and trim steaks and pack with butter
3) cook for 1 to 2 hours
4) take out the steaks, dry and re-season
5) sear the steaks over very high heat or use blow torch
