Ingredients
- 1 pound fusilli pasta (corkscrew stuff)
- 2 1/2 cups cream
- 3 each eggs
- 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 cup grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Step 1
COOK the pasta in salted boiling water al dente. Drain reserving one cup of the cooking water. Set the pasta aside to cool a little.
PREHEAT the oven to 350 and brush a 7 cup casserole dish with olive oil.
WHISK the cream, eggs, and reserved water in a large bowl until combined. Stir in the feta, flour, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
TRANSFER the cooled pasta to the prepared dish. Pour the cream mixture over the top and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until it is set and the top is golden.
