Ingredients
- 1 Large Head Cabbage Washed, Cored & Sliced
- 2 T EVOO
- 6 Slices Thick Bacon Cut 1" Strips
- 1 Small Yellow Onion Sliced
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 Bottle Beer
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Preparation
Step 1
Large Pot Medium Heat, Add EVOO & Bacon - Cook Until Brown & Crisp.
Add Onion, Bay Leaves, Saute Until Onions Soft.
Add Cabbage, Stir to Mix - Add Beer, Cover and Cook 30 Minutes.
Ready When Cabbage is Wilted - Remove Bay Leaves.
S & P to Taste.
Serve Hot.
