Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 6 Tbsp Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 Cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 Cup finely chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 2 10.5 ounce cans low sodium Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 Cups Water
- 2 Envelope Turkey Gravy (.9 oz)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp lemon peel
- 1 tsp thyme
- Mashed Potatoes or Noodles
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl combine eggs, bread crumbs, onion, celery, parsley, pepper, garlic powder and mix. Add ground turkey and mix together. Shape mixture into 1.5-2 inch meatballs. Should make about two dozen.
In a large skillet, heat oil and brown meatballs. You can do half at a time. Drain fat and place in slow cooker.
For gravy combine Cream of Mushroom soup, gravy mix, water, lemon peel, thyme. Mix well. Add bay leaf and then pour mixture over meatballs.
Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Remove bay leaf and enjoy!
