Ingredients
- 4 C sliced, peeled peaches
- 1/3 plus 1/2 C brown sugar
- 2 drops almond extract
- 3/4 C flour
- 3/4 rolled oats
- 1/2 C silvered almonds
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 C butter
Preparation
Step 1
Combine peaches, 1/3 C sugar and almond extract. Spoon into lightly greased 8 " square dish. Set aside, Heat oven to 375. Combine flour, oats, almonds, salt and 1/2 C sugar. Cut the butter into 8 pcs, add to mixture. Use electric mixer on low speed or pastry blender to mix butter into dry ingredients. The mixture wil be crumbly. Distribute mixture as evenly as you can over peaches without being too obsessive. Bake 25 - 40 minutes until to is browned. Serves 6-8
