Vanilla Caramels******

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 c br sugar
  • 1 c corn syrup
  • 1 c evaporated milk(not fat free)
  • 1 pt. heavy cream
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all but vanilla and cook, boiling to 250 on candy thermometer (will take a long time and needs a large pan)
ADd vanilla
Pour into buttered jelly roll pan.
Cool and cut into squares and wrap in waxed paper
