OVERNIGHT STEEL-CUT OATMEAL

Ingredients

  • 3/4 CUP STEEL-CUT OATS
  • 3 CUPS WATER
  • I also added 1/4 c dried fruit, 2T brown sugar or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all in a 1 1/2 to 3 quart slow cooker
Cover and cook on LOW 8to 9 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours, until thick and creamy. Stir well and ladle into bowls. serve hot with butter and milk if so desired.
