Hearty Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pouches (7 oz each) chunk white tuna
  • 16 ounces uncooked rotini
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ⅓ cup sliced green onions
  • ⅔ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 small zucchini, diced small
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 ounces Pasta Ready tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano

Preparation

Step 1


Drain and flake the tuna. Set aside. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse in hot water.

Combine noodles with the tuna, celery, green onions, zucchini, tomato and cheese. Blend in the sour cream, mustard, mayonnaise, thyme and salt.

Pour mixture into a greased casserole. Combine cheese and bread crumbs and sprinkle over top.

Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
