Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lb italian sausage
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 16 oz cans white beans
- 14 to 16 oz canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp oregano
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a wide skillet over medium-high heat. Add the italian sausage and garlic. Stir the sausage occasionally so it cooks through.
Add mushrooms, and cook about five minutes, stirring occasionally, or until they have darkened and glisten.
Add canned beans, tomatoes and oregano. Cook at least until hot. If you have time simmer a few minutes to let the flavors blend.
