Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken or ground beef
- 1 green or red pepper or mixture of both
- 1 small onion,sliced
- 11/2 cups water
- 3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
- 1 can (680ml) no-salt tomato sauce
- 1 cup shedded cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cook chicken or ground beef in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on med.high x 5 mins.Add vegetables;cook and stir x 3-5 mins.or until meat is done.
Add water bring to boil. Add pasta;stir until evenly covered with water. Cover;simmer on med.high x15 mins or until pasta is tender.
Stir in sauce. Top with cheese;cover. Simmer on low heat x 5 mins or until cheese is melted and pasta mixture is heated through.
