Never Fail Fudge

Ingredients

  • 5 c sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 Lb oleo or butter
  • 1 (12 oz) jar marshmallow
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c walnuts
  • 2 (12 oz) bags semisweet chocolate pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 5 ingredients in 4 quart sauce pan. Stir over low heat until blended. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil slowly stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until soft ball stage. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts until chocolate is melted. Pour into TWO 9x9 buttered pans or ONE 9x13 pan and cool.
