Cheese Topped Grilled Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 plum tomatoes, cut lengthwise in half (can use any tomato)
  • 1/4 cup light zesty Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (basil, chives, and/or parsley)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat grill to medium-high heat.

Place tomatoes, cut sides up, in 8" square foil pan sprayed with cooking spray. Drizzle with dressing, top with cheeses. Place pan on grill grate.

Grill 10 to 12 minutes or until mozzarella is melted and tomatoes are heated through.

Sprinkle with herbs.
