Apple Pecan Dip

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. salted butter
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temp.)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • caramel candies
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 2-4 apples, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Toast pecans in a small pan with melted butter. Drain on paper towel.
Mix cream cheese and brown sugar until blended.
Spread into a shallow dish.
Top with melted caramel candies (or use the caramel sauce for dipping apples found in produce )
Top with toasted pecans.

To keep apples from browning, place in a bowl of lemon-lime soda.
