Ingredients

  • Make Simple Syrup:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Make Cocktail:
  • 1 ounce Smith & Cross rum
  • 1/2 ounce Jägermeister
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Nux Alpina liqueur
  • 4 ounces boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon butter into mug
  • orange peel, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Make Simple Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer water with sugar until sugar dissolves.

Make Cocktail:
Preheat a mug or heatproof glass with hot water, then discard water. Pour Smith & Cross rum, Jägermeister, simple syrup, Nux Alpina liqueur, boiling water and butter into mug. Stir to melt butter. Garnish with a strip of orange peel.
