COCONUT HORCHATA

Ingredients

  • 1 c uncooked rice
  • 1 c almonds (optional
  • 1 c sweet flaked coconut
  • 3 c boiling water
  • 1 14oz.can of coconut milk
  • 1 14oz. can of condensed milk
  • 5 c of cold water or more a/n
  • 5 c. ice

Preparation

Step 1

. Place rice, almonds, and coconut flakes into a food processor, process until the mixture takes on a consistency of sand

. Pour mix into boiling water and cover and rest overnight

. Strain out rice mix and discard, combine flavored liquid with coconut milk, condensed milk and the cold water, stir together and chill
