Rice and Raisins

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup rice (not minute)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Bring rice, salt and raisins to a boil, cover, and simmer 30 minutes or until thickened stirring often. Add milk, sugar and about 4 shakes of cinnamon. Let come to a good boil. Pour into bowl and shake a litte cinnamon on top. Keep refrigerated
