Date Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine, softened
  • 1 3/4 Cups Chopped Dates
  • 1 Egg, well beaten
  • 2 Cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cook sugar, margarine, chopped dates and egg for 5 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla. Cool enough to handle. Roll into small balls and roll in coconut.
