Gingerbread cake 350 degrees 9 by 9 pan

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all wet ingredients and then add dry. Beat 3 minutes.
