Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 # butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • pineapple slices
  • nuts and cherries to suit
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • pich of salt
  • 5 Tbsp pineapple juice
  • 1 cup flour

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and brown sugar in frying pan. Add flour, Baking powder and salt sifted together. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

Pour brown sugar mixture in baking pan. Put cake batter on top of mixture and bake cake in oven 350 until cake batter is done and turn out on plate.
