Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbl. butter
  • 2/3 cup of chopped onion
  • 4 Tbl. of flour
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of chopped cooked broccoli
  • 4 slices of cheese (Velveeta type)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Blend in flour until mixture is smooth. Add milk, cooked broccoli, cheese and seasonings. Cook until soup thickens and cheese is melted, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.


Serves 4.
