Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs string green beans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 TBS ground mustard
- 1 lb bacon
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
String and rinse green beans. Soak beans in water until ready to mix. Mix brown sugar and ground mustard together in a bowl. Cut bacon strips in half. Toss beans in sugar mixture. Wrap 3 to 4 beans in bacon. Place wraps on a aluminum foil cookie sheet. Bake for approx 20 mins or until beans are tender.
* You may substitute fresh greens beans with 2 14.5 ounce cans of French style whole green beans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins.
