Thumbprint Cookies

Thumbprint cookies are a classic cookies that always make a great impression, regardless of what the occasion is. These delicious cookies feature a filling of chocolate but you can substitute with other fillings, like your favorite jam. Enjoy!

Ingredients

• COOKIE:
• 2 sticks butter
• 9 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• Nuts
• FILLING:
• 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 2 teaspoons cocoa
• Water to desired consisstency

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cookie ingredients together. Roll cookies into ball shape. Place cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press in center of cookie ball with thumb.

Bake at 350°F until brown.

For filling, mix dry ingredients and mix together adding water to desired consistency. Fill cookies with filling after allowing to cool.
