Ingredients
- Garlic Butter Glaze:
- 2 c flour
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1/3 c shortening
- 1 c grated cheddar cheese
- 1 c milk
- 3 tbs butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/8 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Preparation
Step 1
Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and sugar in lrg bowl. Use pastry cutter or fork to cut in shortening. Stir in the cheddar cheese. Add milk and stir lightly, till just barely combined. don't over mix or the biscuits will be tough. Use a 1/4 c measuring cup or ice cream scoop to place balls of dough on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 13-15 mins. combine all glaze ingredients and whisk well. Brush over hot biscuits.
