Ingredients
- 6 farm/garden fresh tomatoes
- 1/2 ball of mozzarella
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, combine peeled, cubed tomatoes, softened butter, and olive oil. Cube the mozzarella and add to the mixture. Crush garlic clove and add, then chop the parsley and basil and add them as well. Use salt and pepper to taste.
Place sauce in a storage container and shake vigorously. Let it sit at room temperature for several hours. Pour over pasta and sprinkle with Romano cheese.
