Artichoke Dip by Heather

A recreation of an artichoke spread found in a Chicago gourmet grocery.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3-4 canned artichoke hearts
  • 3 Tbs. Parmesan
  • 2-3 green onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • Enough olive oil for the desired consistency.

Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop vegetables. Add to cream cheese with the seasonings and lemon juice. Stir in enough olive oil to reach a spreadable (or dip-able) consistence. Serve with crackers.
