Ingredients
- 1 Med. Head Cabbage
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Tbs. Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1 Tbs. Sugar
- 3 Tbs. Margarine
- 1 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cut cabbage into wedges and steam in water in a covered saucepan for about 5 minutes. Drain and place cabbage in a buttered 2 qt. casserole dish. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper and sugar. Dot with margarine. Pour evaporated milk over the cabbage and top with the shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes. Should be golden on top and bubbling around the edges.
