Red Velvet Cake (Tami's)

Ingredients

  • 1 Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix
  • 1 Stick Butter, Softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar
  • 2 oz Red Food Coloring
  • 2 oz Water
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°. Cream together cake mix and butter. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add cocoa, vinegar, and baking soda. Add food coloring, water, and buttermilk. Mix 4-5 minutes. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
For Cupcakes: Bake at 375° for 5 minutes, turn heat down to 325° and bake for 10-15 minutes.
