Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 box yellow cake mix (Betty Crocker)
- 12 oz. of crushed pineapple & drain
- "some mandarin oranges" medium size can?
- medium size container ( I think it was 12 oz. container) of whipped cream
- small box of instant vanilla pudding
Preparation
Step 1
1 box yellow cake mix (Betty Crocker)
Follow instructions on box, except for water. Instead of water, take a can (I think it was 12 oz.) of crushed pineapple & drain. This should give you 1 1/4 cup of pineapple juice. Add this to the cake mix.
After you're done blending all of you ingredients, add 1/2 of the crushed pineapple and some mandarin oranges (you may want to break up your mandarin wedges and drain them since your mix may get runny).
Bake at 350 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
Let you cake cool.
Topping:
Take medium size container ( I think it was 12 oz. container) of whipped cream, add a small box of instant vanilla pudding. Blend, then add the rest of the pineapple and mandarins (break up & drain). When your done, put your topping in feezer so that it can get firm. Add to your cake when it's cool. Once your topping is on the cake, you may want to put your cake in the refrigerator to keep it cool and firm.
