Wonderfully Light Eggnog

My son, Gary, made this eggnog over the holidays. Very refreshing and surprisingly light and not filling. He uses honey instead of sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 2 percent milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 allspice
  • 1 tbs vanilla extract
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup honey

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, egg yolks, and honey. After fully blended, fold in whipped heavy cream and vanilla extract. Serve immediately.
