Ingredients
- 6 ounces ( half a roll ) of bulk pork breakfast sausage
- 1 cup finely-chopped green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 16 ounce can of drained and rinsed kidney beans
- 14 ounce can of diced Mexican style tomatoes
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Fry sausage till light brown, breaking into small pieces. Add green peppers and saute till tender. Add cumin, stirring to coat sausage and peppers. Add beans, tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil on high heat, then cover and simmer until heated through, for about 8 minutes.
