Night before French Toast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread cut into 1" slices
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 tblsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tblsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a 9x 13 pan. Arrange bread in pan. Beat together eggs , milk, sugar, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking, dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with maple syrup.
