Plum Flop

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 7/8 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together 1st group of ingredients. Spread on a cookie sheet with fingers very thin. Cover dough with sliced plums. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar.

Topping: Mix next group of ingredients together and cruble with fingers. Sprinkle over plums.


Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes.
