Sour Cream Pound Cake -- #2

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter, softened
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Eggs, separated
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 3 Cups Cake Flour
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Flavoring
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add sour cream, then sifted dry ingredients, mixing after each. Add flavorings. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into mixture. Bake in large tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees for about an hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
