Ingredients
- 2 C. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- salt
- tsp baking powder
- 1 C. Shortening
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1 C. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 C. flaked or shredded coconut
- 2 C. Corn Flakes
Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients.
Cream shortening, sugars until light. Add eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well. Add coconut and corn flakes. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet; 1 inches apart.
Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes
