Ingredients
- 1 Cup Pumpkin or Squash, cooked
- 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Cloves
- 1/2 tsp. Allspice
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 4 Tbs. Flour
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 4 Cups Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 4 Egg Whites, stiffly beaten
- 2 9" Pie Shells, unbaked
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, flour, egg yolks, milk, and vanilla until well blended. Fold in egg whites that have been beaten until stiff. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted into pie comes out clean.
