Borsch

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb or 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 3 1/4 c water
  • 1 8-oz can diced beets
  • 1/3 c tomato paste
  • 1/2 c borsch soup base

Preparation

Step 1

Add cabbage to water and bring to a boil.

Add beets, paste, and base and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Yields 1 qt.
