Ingredients
- 1/2 c flaky sea salt
- 1 T grapefruit zest
- 2 t orange zest
- 1 t lemon zest
- 1/2 t freshly ground fennel seed
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 300F.
2. In a med bowl, mix sea salt w/grapefruit, orange, & lemon zests, working zests into salt to eliminate clumps.
3. Add fennel seed & spread across a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Bake until zest is dried out, about 15 min (it should crumble when pinched).
5. Let cool, then store in an airtight jar up to 2 months.
