Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 Tbs all- purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups sugar
  • Dash Salt
  • 3 large eggs, seperated
  • 3 Cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (12 oz) pkg vanilla wafers
  • 6 med banannas
  • 6 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 325* 25-30 MINUTES
Combine flour, sugar, salt in saucepan.
Beat Yolks and combine with milk.
Stir egg mixture with flour mixture.
Cook med heat, stir constantly.
Remove from heat add vanilla.

Layer 1/3 of the vanilla wafers in 3 quart baking dish.
Slice two banannas over top.
Pour 1/3 custard over the top.
Repeat layers twice.
Beat whites until foamy while
slowly adding sugar into egg whites.
Spread and seal edges of casserole.
