Top of the Stove Cookies (Fish Food Cookies)

Known in the Kaehr household as Poopin cookies! LOL. I remember these cookies as the first cookies that I ever made and I had the recipe card from my grandmas recipe box. They were also the first cookie recommendation from my 4-H foods project.

Ingredients

• 2 cups white sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 stick of oleo
• 6 TBSP Cocoa
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 3 cup quick oats

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, milk, oleo, and bring to full boil, boil for 1/2 to 1 minute no longer. Add cocoa and peanut butter mixing well. Add rolled oats mixing well. Drop on wax paper and cool. Work fast as they set fast
