Ginger Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound peeled, de-veined, uncooked shrimp
  • 1 tablesppon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • A chunk of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped (2 or 3 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 cup dry sherry

Preparation

Step 1

Place chopped ginger, garlic and green onions in large saute pan. Add butter and olive oil and heat om medium until garlic is cooked, but not burned, about 3 or 4 minutes. Add shrimp and cook intil it just turns pink.
Add sherry and cook about two minutes.
Serve with bread for soaking up the really yummy sauce!
