Heidi's Turkey Stuffing

From Heidi Sowatsky. Uh .... *NOT* Weight Watchers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C onion, chopped
  • 1-1/2 C finely chopped celery
  • 1 C margarine or butter
  • 7 C bread cubes (crust off)
  • 3 C finely chopped Granny Smith apples
  • 3/4 C raisins
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp fresh (I think) sage
  • 1 tsp fresh (I think) thyme
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt the butter in a saute pan. Add onion and celery and saute until soft.

2. Combine onion mixture with all the other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
