Cauliflower Soup (crock)

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 c hot water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • .25 lb dried beef
  • 1/2 c potato flakes or buds

Preparation

Step 1

Place 2 cups hot water in crock on high. As water heats, wash and chop cauliflower. Add to water.

Wash the dried meat by running each slice under cool water to wash off the excess salt. Chop into small bits and add to water.

Let cauliflower cook for 1 hour or so until boiling and becoming tender. Place cubed cream cheese over top of cauliflower, then spread on potato flakes. Cover and cook 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
