Ingredients

  • 12 SLICES BACON
  • 1 MEDIUM ONION (CHOPPED)
  • 1/2 CUP BISQUICK
  • 3 EGGS
  • 1 1/4 CUPS MILK
  • 1/4 TEAS. SALT
  • 1/8 TEAS. PEPPER
  • 1/2 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
  • MUSHROOMS IF DESIRED & GREEN OR RED PEPPERS
  • HAM CAN BE SUBSTITUTED FOR BACON IF DESIRED

Preparation

Step 1

HEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES

GREASE 1 1/2 QUART GLASS PAN
COOK BACON UNTIL CRISPY (SAVE BACON DRIPPINGS)
SAUTE' ONIONS UNTIL TRANSPARENT IN BACON DRIPPINGS, ADD MUSHROOMS & PEPPERS
IF DESIRED. SPREAD ONIONS ETC. & BACON (BROKEN UP INTO SM.PIECES) INTO
BOTTOM OF PAN.
BEAT EGGS, ADD BISQUICK & MIX TOGETHER. ADD MILK,SALT & PEPPER, MIX UNTIL SMOOTH. SLOWLY POUR EGG MIXTURE OVER BACON &ETC. SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE.
BAKE UNCOVERED ABOUT 35 MIN. SERVES 4-6 I DOUBLE THIS FOR LARGER CROWDS.
