Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) package of rigatoni
- 1 pound mild bulk Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced, peeled tomatoes in juice
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cook rigatoni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute sausage and garlic, stirring and breaking up the meat. Stir in spinach, tomatoes with juice, basil and oregano. Cook for 2 minutes. Drain rigatoni and return to pot or bowl. Pour sauce over and toss. Serve with cheese.
